IT CAN SAFELY BE SAID THAT A MEASURE OF A PERSON IS NOT DETERMINED BY THEIR ABILITY TO APPEAR HARD BUT RATHER THEIR ABILITY TO EVOLVE AND GROW INTO A BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEING ABSENT OF APPROVAL.

so what if you convinced me of who I am, and I wasn't without you
so what if every word you ever said became empty hollowing of sound
so what if I thought I could believe in the dream of us
so what.............you let me down, left me by the side of the road
humbled, torn open leaving behind nothing but a frown

So what if I break free
be who I'm supposed to be
without you, leaving you on the road where I last met your eyes
the beating heat ravishing my body, daring me to sweat
so what...........for you I gave my best, now to me I owe it all.
